Over the time things turn to get slowed down and bring different issues. Perhaps, low performance and instability are the worse. We understand frustrating it becomes when our phone responds slowly to our action. We would wait for our phone to respond and complete that tasks.

If you’re facing such low-performance problems on your Galaxy A7, the following tips and tricks you must implement:

You must disable or remove apps that remain unused whole time.

There are even more recommendations that you could try. Follow our this guide; how to speed up Samsung Galaxy phones.

7. Poor battery life on Samsung Galaxy A7

It is mainly associated with the applications installed on your phone and your usage. Most of the time it happens one or more applications keep running in the background and consume most the of battery life. Since such applications work in the background, there are greater chances that they use the Internet data. That consumes a lot of battery life. Moreover, you shouldn’t keep WiFi, Internet, GPS, Bluetooth, etc., turned ON all the time. These connectivity features consume a lot of battery power to work.

Therefore, in order to get the most out of the phone’s battery, you must change your usage habits. Turn off the Internet when not in use and disable other connectivity features when you’re not indulged with them. Further, the following tips and tricks are helpful in fixing poor battery life on an Android phone.

  1. Make sure that enabled the battery optimization feature on your phone. Go to Settings > Battery > Battery Usage > More > Optimise battery usage, and tap ‘All Apps’. That will restrict the apps from using the battery carelessly.
  2. Next, you should keep a track of applications that run in the background. Most of the time, they are the culprits that eat most of the battery power. To keep an eye on these apps, enable the Developer Options on your phone. Then, go to Settings >Developer Options > Background Services. Under this hood, you get more insights about apps/services running in the background. Either you can disable them or uninstall them.
  3. Disable bloatware/unwanted apps. Samsung smartphones are pretty loaded with tons of applications. And many of them remain unused, so it is better to disable them. That will stop them from running in the background, saves processing power and battery life too. Just open the Apps list, then tap on the app and disable it.
  4. Make sure to turn OFF connectivity features like Location, Bluetooth, Wifi, when not in use. Otherwise, they will consume most of the battery power.
  5. If possible, try to use the lite version of the Facebook application. Basically, this app requires a continuous connection to the Internet to fetch images and latest posts, thus it keeps running in the background, using the battery and internet.

8. Unexpectedly shut down and reboot problems

Are you facing problems regarding unusually reboots? We have found many users reported these problems after an update or using the phone for a long time. Basically, the Android OS malfunctions due to inappropriate configuration and aggregation of junk/corrupt files. If that something happens to your Samsung Galaxy A7 phone, you must remove these files.

Your phone might get turned off without prior notification or error. Or in the worst case, such unexpected shutdowns can corrupt the storage on your phone. So, before something like that happens, you better follow the below recommendations to fix these problems on your phone:

  1. The first thing you could do is to revert the Settings to default on your phone. You might have changed some settings that your phone is unable to adopt. Thus, it gets turned off occasionally. Go to Settings->Reset-> Reset Settings -> Perform this reset. That will turn all settings to the default configuration. You won’t lose any of your data.
  2. There are possibilities that you’ve indulged with a toxic application/s, that is resisting your phone to run normally. Thus, try to uninstall the applications that you’ve installed recently. Then, observe your phone for a while.
  3. If that doesn’t work, you should Wipe the cache partition on your phone. Will remove all the cached data. Just enter into the Recovery Mode and perform ‘Wipe Cache Partition’ or Go to Settings > Storage > tap on Clear Now button.
  4. At last, you can hard reset your phone. That will reduce the possibilities for problems and issues to persist on your phone. Just get your phone into the Recovery mode and perform ‘Wipe data/factory reset’. That should be enough to make your normal.

If you don’t find any of the above methods work, you can try to re-flash the stock firmware on your phone. We have already mentioned the resource for that in the above methods.

9. Low Speaker Volume on Galaxy A7

Until the problem is linked to hardware, we can improve the extent of the speaker volume of certain media files. We usually find some media files/apps/games that output low volume. In such cases, we couldn’t listen to them correctly and enjoy them. Or sometimes our device gets into some problems that cause it to output lower speaker volume. So, for that purpose, follow the below recommendations:

  1. If you find that your phone outcomes lower volume on all media files, you should check the speaker holes carefully. Many times it happens that small particles stuck within those holes and resist sound to flow out properly. Use a pin to remove them, make sure to do this carefully, or else you could hurt phone’s speaker physically.
  2. Sometimes such problems arise after an update. If that’s your case, you should try to ‘Wipe Cache Partition’ or perform a factory reset on your phone. That will remove these bugs causing your phone to outcome low speaker volume.
  3. If the problem is related to certain media files, apps, and games, you can try the third-party application called ‘Speaker Boost’ to improve the overall speaker volume on your phone. Make sure to use this application carefully, and read the given instructions.

10. Network issues on calls on Samsung Galaxy A7

If you frequently observe low network signal and call issues on your phone, then you must try the below troubleshooting solution. Mostly it happens due to geographical location and environment. Like, you might be facing such issues at your home or office or a certain location. If that’s the case, you better contact your operator and ask for further help.

Otherwise, the following recommendation should work in resolving most the networking related problems on your Samsung Galaxy A7 smartphone. Just follow the below ones:

  1. Firstly, you should try to remove the SIM card tray, clean it thoroughly and re-insert your phone. That should fix problems caused by the mis-position of the SIM card. That should bring some improvements in the network signals.
  2. Now, you should go further and reset the Network settings on your phone. Open the ‘Settings’ then tap on Reset and perform Reset Network Settings option. That will reset the whole network settings on your phone.
  3. If that has happened after an update process, you better perform a hard reset on your phone. That should fix all the problems on your phone.
  4. If nothing works, better reach out to the SIM Card operator.

  3. Hi! I just bought my new Samsung A7 2018 last Sat. It seems ok, but d problem is d palm swipe capture on screenshot is not working even though it’s already on, what will I do? Can u guide me on this? Thank u..

    1. Hi Bheng,

Congrats on purchasing this smartphone. It is really good.

Now about your question, the answer is pretty simple.

First, just make sure that Palm gesture option is enabled on your phone (you said it is already on).

Second, you should know that palm gesture not like ‘Air gesture’ or something that your phone will capture through Air (means without touching the phone).

To capture the screenshot, you need to swipe your palm over the phone slightly touching the display screen. It is like swiping your palm over the screen.

Next time you try to take a screenshot, make sure to slightly touch the screen through your palm while swiping. That’s it, you’ve taken a screenshot on your phone. Also, you could follow our dedicated guide for this purpose: https://goo.gl/PNDCQR

I hope this information helps you. Let me know if there’s anything I could help you with.

    1. Hi Sujan,

Possibly, there could be two reasons for this issues.

Either there is a hardware fault (if photos are better on other phones ( same model).

Or, this issue can be linked to the software part.

To troubleshoot the software part, you can try different solutions like clear its cache, uninstall the application, factory reset your phone or update the firmware.

If you figure that is a clear hardware fault, you better visit the service center.

Let me know your thoughts and findings.

Actually, when it is auto-locked but still less than 5 seconds, i could still unlock it. But if it take too long, it won’t budge.

      2. Try to get into the Recovery Mode and perform ‘Wipe cache partition’.

      3. Also, you can perform ‘Wipe data/factory reset’ using the recovery mode.

If your phone doesn’t boot any of these modes, you better seek help from the service center.

      This should help you!

  17. I got the 4G and 3G signal when the phone was restarted but when I am using wifi signal after 24-hours when switching back to data, no 3G and 4G signal in area ‘A’, only 2G. When restarting the phone immediately in area ‘A’ I got the 3G and 4G signal again.

It is very annoying to restart the phone each time to get 4G/3G signal in area where the 4G and 3G signal is strong.

Already put network on 2G/3G/LTE auto and reboot,
    Already reset network setting,

    WITHOUT ANY IMPROVEMENT…!!!

    1. Hi Luka, That seems very abnormal behavior. If possible, try to share any of the images that you’ve taken. That will me provide a better solution to your problem.

    2. I have the same problem with my A7. It worked fine and now it wont fovus ar all! The wide lence is the only camera working and the selfie camera!!

    1. Hi Jimmy,

That’s very sad to hear. Let me know the exact problem you’re facing. Whether network signals are there or not? And what happens when you connect call? Let me know, so I can help you in a better way.

  19. Hi,
Good morning. I already have issue about what I purchased last week which is Samsung Galaxy A7 2018. Is it normal that whenever I am browsing internet it is getting hot or sometimes it is over heating? I already did what you have said on this problem, but nothing has change.
Please help. Thank you very much!

    1. Since it is new, that might be the actual problem. Just continue using this phone 1-2 weeks more and check after that. That should become normal over time.

  20. Hi I have buy Samsung smartphone Samsung Galaxy A7 when I am playing pubg mobile in my smartphone after 15 minutes it heats up very fast what can I do for it Samsung companies they don’t play pubg this mobile but I want to play pubg please help me

    1. Hi Nishant,

There’s nothing you could do. The Pubg game has intense graphics details and gameplay, that, of course, requires extensive processing power and GPU support, thus your phone gets heated up.

In this case, I would suggest you debloat your phone, remove unwanted apps and files. That will free some good amount of processing power and storage space on your phone. That would make your phone heat less.

  21. 1. Hi Glady,

This is a bug. If you’ve recently update your phone to Android Pie, then that might be causing this problem. Either you could wait for stable-fix update or perform a factory reset. One of these action should help you!

  23. This fucking phone stuck on 2g and need a restart everytime.
Factory reset doesn’t help as I bought my phone very recently.

  24. I have a Samsung A7 2018. First I tried both SIM cards and it worked perfectly. Then I started using just SIM 2 and now, when I try to insert two SIM cards (or even just one SIM card in SIM 1) the device doesn’t recognise it and / or say that the SIM card(s) is(are) blocked… I know I have the option of the hard rebut, but, with so many apps installed, I’d really not like to do it… Do you see any easy fix?… I’d really appreciate it… Txs a lot!

    1. There’s nothing to worry must. Just open the Settings on your phone and perform ‘reset Network settings’. This will wipe all information regarding SIMs and then try using them.

  25. After a recent update on my Samsung A7 the time on the navigation bar won’t display am and pm. Done the required changes in the settings. It shows am and pm on the settings though but won’t change on the navigation bar.

    1. Hi there,

It seems that you’re phone is running out of free internal space. That could be due to cache and clutter files. I would suggest you clear cache on your phone: https://bit.ly/2D70M8V

      I hope it helps you!

  32. I bought galaxy A7 last night. but it’s camera is really poor. size and quality of photos are poor(quality is anormal). I googled the problem and found that problem could be from noise reduction system. but I can’t deactivate it yet. please suggest me a solution

    1. Hi there,

You can perform a factory reset on your phone. If that doesn’t work, we suggest you reach out for some technical help from the service center.

  33. I got my A7 last week Tuesday then Sunday I switched it off when charging it then Monday morning tried to switch it on guess what it does not switch on anymore…what could be the prblm

    1. Hi Auriri,

That sounds really annoying. It seems that your phone’s firmware has been bricked somehow. I would recommend you get into the recovery mode: https://bit.ly/2D8XSjR and perform a factory reset or wipe cache partition action. This should help in fixing your Galaxy A7 that won’t turn ON.

  34. My Galaxy A7 used to connect well with my home Wifi, but ever since a software update was installed 2 weeks back, it is unable to find that wifi network again.

It works on other devices. So I guess some software update made it happen. I have tried in safe mode, reset the network settings, changed my router as well but nothing works. Only a software update from Samsung might solve this issue.

Whats your take on it ? Anything more that i can try ?

    1. Hi Saahil,

Did you factory reset this phone? Sometimes it happens that official updates bring such instability.

  35. I m not able to connect Wifi..I tried everything …it’s getting connected on my other android phone but it’s not able to connect in my Samsung A7 Galaxy Triple camera…pls reply

and my router don’t have any kind of restriction for my mobile device.

  37. Love my Samsung Galaxy A7 but recently during a conversation the person on the other end stop hearing me although I hear them. Not catching any buttons with my ear and the only way to carry on is hang up and re-dial.

  38. Update the OS to 9. Some updated UI is a bit sluggish. But the major issue is on the SIM 2. SIM 2 can receive sms, send sms, use data mobile and receive calls but unable to make outgoing calls for SIM 2. After process of elimination switching SIM’s, still not working. The call drops almost immediately after making a outgoing call. Samsung A7 2018 model.

Will do a factory/hard reset. Will backup my data using Switch Smart app from Samsung. Will also use it to restore.

Will see if this will help.

  39. Hi,

    Spcially with headphone and speackers

    1. Hi Nikita,

Most probably, this issue is being caused by expired cache files.

Open Settings->Tap on Apps-> Tap on Setting app->Tap on Storage->Then Tap on Clear Data and Cache.

Right after that reboot your phone.

This should probably fix this problem on your phone.
