        1. It doesn’t work on any Google devices I’ve tried. It did, a while back, when the app was less popular and not flooded with ads. But for the past 6 months – year, it won’t work on: Nexus 4, Nexus 5, Nexus 6, Pixel 2, Pixel 3.

  1. Same with comments above with the sound booster app not working. I have a pixel 3 (regular) now and no sound booster app I’ve tried works on it. I owned an LG G6 prior less than a year ago and the sound booster apps work on it. Not sure if it’s because how Google configured their phone or maybe the pixel 3 having the latest Android software.

    1. Hi Daniel,

It seems that Pixel devices are restricted somehow against such applications that take over hardware aspects.

      1. Bullshit. I’ve used other volume apps and they work just fine. It’s an issue with Volume Booster itself.

  2. I have the Pixel 3 XL, and it works great with earbuds but no effect just playing audio through the phone, which was my real issue. I don’t understand how volume can be so low on this phone. I’ve never experienced this before with any other phone.

    1. Hi Amy,

Look around the speakers. There might be some dust particles restricting clear audio to come out.

      Try this!

  3. I have never had an issue with audio output on my pixel 3 but today, it would not play spotify or apple music on my car bluetooth connection even though I could tell it was connected properly. When I got home I also noticed that the audio output is now very very low, even though my settings have the volume set to max. What is going on?

    1. Hi Maria,

That seems to quite a normal problem. I generally face this problem while using my headphones on the mobile.

There’s nothing to worry much. Just open the Settings and navigate to the connected Bluetooth devices list. There, just remove the connection formed with your car and re-form the connection.

That’s should help you in this case. If you still face this problem, do let us know.

      I hope it helps you!
