Does not work on OnePlus 6….USB debugging turned on/Developer options/ Select USB Configuration
only selecting PTP = Can transfer files or folder to DCIM from PC to OnePlus 6 using USB cable
Why is it so hard to transfer video/photos to the PC and favorite ringtones or music to OnePlus 6 ?
Hello David,
I can understand your thing. No need to worry and use Developer Options to transfer the Pictures to your computer or vice versa.
Simply, connect your phone to your computer using a USB Cable. Wait a few seconds until your computer detects your phone.
Now, on your phone, check the notification panel. Tap on USB Charging this device.
Then, tap on Transfer files. This will open a new drive on your computer. Browse your files directly, transfer them.
That’s it! Or, to make it more simple, use Mobile PC suite. That should reduce your efforts.
I hope that helps you!

Try that.
However, while you connect the USB to PC, it should show some USB options like this:
Try connecting it again. And if such notification appears, tap on it and select Transfer Files option.
Hope it would work!
