Download GCam (APK) for Vivo Mobiles: List of all Supported Models

The GCam has become one of the most desired camera application by Android users. We cannot deny that it gives our mobile more than an interesting plus to take spectacular photographs, beyond the benefits of the native Camera app. In this guide, we’ll help you install the GCam application on your Vivo smartphone, so you can take photographs, and record videos more professionally.

But you already know that there is no universal version that works on all mobiles since it is exclusive to a privileged few. The good news is that there is a group of developers who take the trouble to port the GCam to the most compatible mobiles.

Would you like to have the functions of the Google camera on your Vivo mobile? We show you the available options based on different versions of GCam for compatible Vivo models released in 2019 and 2020.

GCAM APK FOR VIVO S1 PRO

There are different versions of the GCam for this 2019 Vivo model, with Snapdragon 675 and triple camera, but the port we found in Celso Azevedo seems to work without problems:

It has all the most popular functions of the GCam (Night Sight, Time-lapse, HDR +, etc) although you will have to activate some of them manually, for example, Astrophotography Mode.

GCAM APK FOR VIVO U10 AND VIVO U20

These two models that were launched last year, with triple cameras and a huge battery, have two functional versions of GCam. In the case of Vivo U10 you can try these options:

While in theory, these options bring audio zoom, slow motion, among other newer features of the GCam, they may not all work on your device. And as for Vivo U20, you can try the following version:

GCAM APK FOR VIVO Z1 PRO AND VIVO Z1X

Although the Vivo Z1 Pro does not impress with its photographic section, it has a huge battery and a Qualcomm Snapdragon processor. And on the other hand, the Vivo Z1x has a triple camera that corresponds to its mid-range proposal and a not inconsiderable autonomy.

Apparently, there is no port specifically created for these models, but this option seems to work for those who want to test the basic functions of GCam.

And as for the Vivo Z6, you can try this port that promises to provide some of the most popular GCam functions, such as HDR +, night view, portrait mode, astrophotography, timelapse, among others:

GCAM APK FOR VIVO X50 AND X50 PRO

These are two models that we met this year and that combine a Qualcomm Snapdragon 765G processor with a good photographic section. And according to users, this version seems to work perfectly:

GCAM APK FOR VIVO V15, VIVO V15 PRO, VIVO V17 PRO, VIVO V19

Vivo V15 with its Mediatek Helio P70 processor and its retractable camera has a version of GCam available that you can test from the Cyanogenmods website. While you can have all the known functions of GCam you will have to go through many manual settings, so be patient.

As for Vivo V15 Pro, with Snapdragon 675 processor and removable camera, you can opt for this port. Almost all functions are available, although not all work properly, some users have reported.

Vivo V17 Pro fell in love with more than one with its front retractable camera and its quad camera on the rear. And yes, you can also give a plus to the potential of its photographic section with a version of the GCam:

And moving on to a 2020 model, we have Vivo V19 with Snapdragon 712, a front double camera, and four rear cameras. In that case, you can try these versions from Cyanogenmods:

HOW TO INSTALL GCAM ON VIVO DEVICES

This process should be easy for you. You just have to download and install the corresponding APK, taking into account that you must enable the “installation of applications from unknown sources” on the mobile. If you do not enable this option, the download will be impossible, since for security only apps from Google Play are supported.

Once you carry out this process, you can install it as if it were an app. So far you will not have complications, but you will have to have a lot of patience to manually activate some of the GCam modes and functions. For example, if you don’t see Astrophotography mode in the version you downloaded, try activating it manually. To do this, go to the GCam settings and scroll to “Advanced setting” and look for the option “Use astrophotography mode” to enable it.

Remember that these ports do not always work correctly, and in some cases, they cannot offer all the functions of the Google camera. But don’t worry, developers often release new ports based on the latest versions of GCam, as well as new options that fix bugs from previous versions.

So you can take a look at pages like the ones we refer to find stable versions, like Celso Azevedo and Cyanogenmods.

OTHER OPTIONS TO DOWNLOAD GCAM ON YOUR VIVO MOBILE

If you cannot find the version that corresponds to your mobile or you do not want to complicate seeing the options, you can use other tools to do the work for you.

For example, you can use applications like GCamator. The dynamics they implement is very simple, so you don’t need to complicate with weird options.

For example, when you install GCamator you will see that it checks if your mobile has the Camera2Api module enabled, an essential requirement to install the corresponding GCam version. In the second tab “Your GCam“, the app will show you the appropriate version for your mobile.

You just have to click on “Install” and the APK will be downloaded. To complete the process you will have to select “Open APK“. In this step you will see a message saying that your mobile cannot install apps from unknown sources for security reasons, so enable that option (“Authorize downloads from this source…”) from Settings.

Once enabled, you will see a message to install the application. Then, install the application, and voila. And if for some reason it does not recognize your device, then go to the “Database” tab to manually search if there is a GCam version for your mobile.
