The Xiaomi has continued with the metal design concept with plastic bands present at the top and bottom. This design has worked very well for Xiaomi smartphone and they have stuck to this structure for quite a time. Whereas, the Honor 9N has something new to offer. Surprisingly, the Honor 9N has bezels less curved glass design, that looks very beautiful and points us towards the future of the smartphones. This smartphone has a futuristic design that is no different than a premium smartphone serving a great comfort with a full notch display screen. In comparison to this, the Redmi Note 5 Pro has some bezels around the corner. The Xiaomi should have brought some changes in their design.

Although, the Redmi Note 5 Pro has a bigger display but the screen resolution is lower as compared to Honor 9N.

On Honor 9N, you get customized Android experience too. The Android UI is revamped for Honor users to suit them well. Just like Redmi phones, this interface offers improved user experience and feature-rich panel.

There’s is no way we can conclude a winner based on the Android OS, both have the latest builds with customized UI.

In the terms of performance, our vote will pass to Honor 9N.

When it comes to battery life, we find the Redmi Note 5 Pro is a better choice. This smartphone is powered by 4,000 mAh battery while the Honor N9 has only 3,000 mAh. This difference in 1000 mAh makes Xiaomi a clear winner in this aspect.

The Redmi Note 5 Pro’s 4 GB variant with 64 GB inbuilt storage is about Rs. 14,999 whereas, the 4 GB variant having the same storage space of Honor 9N is around Rs. 13,999. This difference of Rs 1000 adds some more votes to our choice and recommendation.
