Perhaps you would not be agree with me but it is true, you should have a dummy account on Twitter for testing purpose.

As Twitter is growing more and more, scammers are trying to benefit it, and it is possible to loss your Twitter user name and password easily, your Twitter account is your brand, so securing it make sense.

Many new services are coming everyday, which are Twitter related and most of services ask for your Twitter user name and password, and it is not easy to identify who is scammer, so it is required specially if you try every new Twitter related service.

Before submitting your user name and password of original account you should first try any suspicious service with your testing account, and this make sense.

Finally you will be safe always, if something happens unwanted.

Somehow I agree. But if you are planning to transfer your followers from your dummy account to your main account then it would be useless.

You are right Rocky but I am suggesting only for testing purpose, and who know it, it is a dummy account and it is yours! You can do the same for original one.
