Do you remember the Technorati monster. It does not seems a monster now. However sometimes it is a panic, if your blog is flagged as a low quality blog and all the authorities have been lost. It almost one year still your blog is orphan. And you are unable to claim another blog because the monster can read the code on your blog. As a result you may get frustrated and decide to say goodbye.
On Technorati you have to claim your blog but once you decided to delete your blog you will delete your claim because there is no way to delete your blog only claim can be deleted. But most of the bloggers thing they are deleting their blog. After deleting your blog you will find your blog is still on Technorati claimed by you but it will not show in your account.
I If you decided to edit your profile or your account details or your blog details you will find it is impossible if your blog is marked as low quality blog. And there is no option for account termination.
However now you can send a request for blog and account deletion. You will not find the page on website but Technorati is on GetSatisfaction. There I found two useful threads.
To delete your Technorati account you can send an email to a Technorati employee juicypeanut on her email address juicypeanut@live.com. You have to send the request email using same email address that was used to sign up for Technorati account.
If you want to delete your Technorati account and your blogs claimed or deleted claim you can email the request to esaguid@technorati.com address using the email address that was used to sign up for Technorati account.
