We use Facebook but there is another site with some similar features and it’s VK.com. It’s Russia’s top social networking site. It’s also popular in other countries as in Kazakhstan, Ukraine, Moldova, Israel and Belarus. It has about 195 million registered users.

VK is in Russian language but if you visit it from India or USA like country it will greet you in English.

At this time I have no reason to spend much time on VK but I have an account on it. And sure millions of users use it daily.

The primary reasons for the success of VK are the native language and enough features. After the rise of Facebook many social networks have lost their charm but many social networks still continuing their journey on the web.

So if you were looking for a social network other than Facebook, VK is a good choice. But you will not find your regular friends there. However, you can make new friends.
