Use Cached Copy to See A Webpage If Website is Unavailable

Mostly people search info using search engines, no doubt we read blogs daily and scan articles but for specific things we have to use search engines.
Sometimes you should have noticed, you open a link in Google to visit it but the link could not be opened. There can be several reasons why the link not opened, may be server down, or hosting can be suspended or any technical problem can be and the page will not open. Or sometimes a website can be deleted or its data, still you have a chance to visit and read the page. If a website is down due to any reason you can search that website and read its contents.

All the search engines create cache of a web page and you can see the cache copy of it. If a website is no more on the web, still you have chances to see its content using Google cache or any search engine cache.

If main link is not opening you can open cached copy of same link. But if a website is unavailable how you will search that website there is a solution for it. Google has some search tags that you can use. In above screen shot I have searched for techshali.com, you can use site:techshali.com twitter, twitter is only a term you can search for any possible expected term. Instead of opening link open cached copy of that link. See below screen shot.

In this post I am using Google you can try this on other search engines.

  1. It is a good trick but only work if that website is not working for few days. If you will check for 1 month old website, Google will not show any thing because they are removing deleted websites from their index quickly.
