The day before yesterday Technorati announced about Twittorati and yesterday it was launched. Today I was looking at this website closely about its features, look and usability, a few features I found useful and a few missing.

Twittorati is based on Technorati and basic idea is also from Technorati so if you know Technorati you can understand Twittorati, but comparing to Technorati it’s nothing only one more service related to twitter.

You can sign in with your Twitter credentials to Twittorati then you can do some useful tasks.

What’s good about? Well do not have learn how to use this website, it is very simple three column layout design, so you can find almost everything on its homepage. When you land on this website at the top you can easily find a search box and after four menus first about Tweets it is about homepage and tweets you can on homepage, second menu is for Top Links, top links should be most retwitted links I think and you can favorite those links, third link is about Top Blogs, top blogs are directly borrowed from Technorati means which blog are top in Technorati those are are in Top at Twittorati too, these top blogs you can see at the left column of website. Fourth menu is for Latest Photos, there you can see latest pictures from Twittorati members. Twitter trending topics also you can see here along Twittorati tags.

You can follow peoples on Twittorati who are popular and you can add links in your favorite but one thing is missing there is nothing special for me or bloggers like me, there you can find profiles of popular users, you can follow them and see their blogs but you can not find there your self if you are a small blogger, I don’t know Twittorati is willing to add this feature in future or not but they should add it.

This seems like a decent idea! I’m surprised they started a new website specifically for this but I guess it’s a good idea. The only thing I don’t like is who says technocratic has the authority to say who the authority bloggers are. I’m assuming it’s based on the voted they got from other blggers but we all know how that data can and is manipulated from groups of friends and bloggers.

I signed in but don’t know what to do!

Great read and a fresh new article! Lets so how many other people blog about it now haha! I know where I heard it first that’s for sure.
