What is similar between Matt Cutts, Brain Clark, Danny Sullivan, Chris Brogan, Robert Scoble and Madhav Tripathi (me!)? You should be thinking how I dare to compare myself with these respected members of the web. Well! These all are using thesis theme for their blogs. Since loud launch of my blog I was using Blue Mania theme from SkinPress it was absolutely free, and the theme was excellent because it has superb customization options so if you know some basic code editing skills then you does not need any premium theme. Now I have changed my theme but design is still as is. Customizing my new theme took me only 6 hours. And my old theme taken almost one year, perhaps this is the difference between a free and premium theme.
As I have listened from many folks thesis is the most desired WordPress premium theme of webmasters. Actually I was in love with my old theme because I have spent days and nights editing it, so I was not willing to buy any premium theme, still I love my old theme as well as before.
For two reasons I was forced to change my theme. First of all I have got tired of editing theme because it eats up my blogging and networking time, from now I want to concentrate on my blogging and expanding my network. Second reason is SEO problems, I tried to make my old theme SEO friendly and it was almost done. But I had my personal problems. I was in blogger’s dilemma to change or not to change. And finally I came out of my block. Yesterday I made a quick decision of purchasing a developer licence of Thesis WordPress theme from DIYthemes. It cost me only $164.
My coming posts will contain how to customize it aka thesis tutorials.
Your suggestions are welcome for more customization.
