These days, Asharamji Bapu is in news because of his assertive behavior with journalists. He has millions of devotees in India and abroad. There are many books published in his Ashram based on his speeches. The books are cheap but not free. However, you can download these books absolutely free in eBook format. All the books are in Hindi and some of the books are in English too.

All the downloadable books are in PDF and HTML format. The books you can find in official Ashram website.

Download eBook on Blogging and Online Money

I am not the writer of this eBook, I am just a compiler of my own written posts. I have published many articles on Blogging but unfortunately Google never attracted to any of Blogging related articles. So I never got traffic from Google for my blogging articles.

These articles were not published on TechShali but on my other two blogs; MadhavTripathi.com and makemonyeonlinemmo.com, the first blog is now personal or extra personal blog so it is for personal stuff. The other blog is no more in development.

You will find many spelling and grammar mistakes so I don’t think native speakers, or scholars will like this eBook.

The name of the eBook is “On Blogging & Online Money Making”, most of the articles are about blogging and online money-making. The eBook is not a complete material and does not presents contents in A to Z way. There are total 61 chapters in this book and 50 pages in total. I have uploaded this book on Scribd. Hindi Typing Tool from Microsoft

Microsoft has a similar tool to Google Transliteration tool. This tool is available for Hindi and other Indian languages Bengali, Gujarati, Kannada, Malayalam, Marathi, Oriya, Punjabi, Tamil and Telugu.

You can go to the page http://specials.msn.co.in/ilit/Hindi.aspx for these tools.

The Indic language input tool is available for both web and desktop. Web version is available as bookmarklet for top browsers as Internet Explorer, Firefox, Chrome, Safari and Opera. Desktop version needs Microsoft .NET framework 2.0 and Microsoft Windows Installer 3.1 if it is not already installed on your system.

If you have installed both web and desktop version on your computer system you can use this tool to input Hindi characters in computer and in browsers.

SaveVideo: A Website to download Web Videos

While surfing websites I found a website to download web videos. There are many sites like SaveVideo.me but all the sites have no surety when they will stop working including this one as well. I tested SaveVideo for some of the sites as youtube, howcast, Facebook etc and it worked very well. SaveVideo supports more than 25 online video resources including top sites as myspace, facebook, vimeo, metacafe, collegehumor, Veoh etc.

While downloading videos from popular sites you may face problem using this site if you do not know the URL of the video.

IF you want to download video from YouTube then it is most easy it is already selected as default and finding the URL of the YouTube videos is also easy.

To download video other than YouTube select the site you want to download the video in bottom side then paste the URL of the video and press “download”.

How to start your own classified site for free?

There are so many classified sites in India. I also started one. You will find every week some new classified sites. I learned a lot after starting my own classified web site. These days starting a classified site is very easy. It is as easy as starting a blog. There are some of open sources scripts available on the web. There are scripts that are partly free and partly paid. So starting a classified site is just easy for any people who have some knowledge of internet.

What and how?

(1) What I need to start a free classified site?
If you have a self hosted blog and hosted your website on Bluehost like web host you are good to go. If you have not one you can easily get one it is as cheap as Rs. 5000 for one year. You can register a new domain or you can create a sub domain for classified.

(2) Where I can get a free classified script?
There are some of the free classified script, you can install WordPress plugin that will convert your blog in to a classified site. Open_Classified site plugin for WordPress is popular. However the one I preferred for my site is OSClass. OSClass is open source classified script. The script was developed with the aim to help start a classified site for free for anyone who wants one. And somehow aim is still motive.

(3) What is in OSClass?
It is continuously in development open source project getting a strong community support. There are some of the beautiful and scalable themes, you can easily modify them with basic knowledge of HTML and CSS, FTP etc, if you have some knowledge of PHP then you can take part in development. You also can create your own themes. There are some of the very good plugin as you see in WordPress. You can modify plugin as well.

(3) How can I install OSClass script?
If you have some knowledge of database creation and knowledge of FTP it is easy for you but if you are facing some problem you can pay the script developers install it for you as low as $20 with a month’s premium support.

(4) How can I make my ad posting site differ?
You need some working knowledge of HTML, CSS and you make it different.

MP3.com is a name that you will never feel unknown to you because MP3 matters in our daily life, it rocks in our ears. We all listen MP3 songs.

MP3 dot com is a website were you can download all the songs legally or all the songs you find there are legal. You will not find all the songs there but all the songs that are there all are legal.

You can visit their top_downloads sections. If you are an artist you can join this site and upload your songs. You can browse songs in different genres.

All the songs I think are in English. MP3.com also has a video section powered by Vevo. Over 1 million songs has been downloaded on this site. It is also a good news site for mp3 lovers.
