Gglpls is a new directory to search Google+ users. You browse Google+ users by location and profession. You also can search Google+ users by name, ID or tag. I do not know it is automatic directory or not but you can list yourself in this directory if you are on Google+. It is easy to add, just add your location and add three tags that describes you or your professional well.

This is not just a directory you can get widget for your Google+ stream, you also can find and submit Google+ apps.

Facebook has a directory, you may never know. Actually most of the social networking sites has a directory but that can be hidden by founders. If you search for a person, a group, a page or an app on Facebook, it is in Facebook directory and it is visible to everyone.

You can browse this directory by name in Latin alphabetical characters and numbers. You can search this directory for any possible person on the web, if she or he has a profile. Facebook has almost 600 Million profiles.

You can search this directory for company employees as Microsoft. If you you want to search the list of Microsoft employees just search for Microsoft. Most of the Microsoft employees are on Facebook and they have added Microsoft as Employers.

As we know web directories to submit websites which are not free or self hosted blogs, there are so many blog directories also where you can submit your blogs, blog directories are a good source of getting easy visitors. Unlike social bookmarking sites you have to submit once your blog and forget everything.

In most of blog directory you have to register first. And that is a good.

You can make good relations with fellow bloggers that will help you to grow easily and quickly.
Mostly you have to register before submit your blog.

usually it is not a blog directory but a blog search engine. There you can submit your blog if you have not submitted yet. And every blog directory is blog search engine.

Technorati
Technorati is one of the oldest blog directories only for bloggers. As Google is for page rank, Alexa is for site rank, Technorati is for blog rank. Now there are other ideas to get on top and get visitor, so now there is no magic like before for Technorati.
