I do not know when Videofy was launched but now it is one of the popular video service for bloggers and webmasters. It is for video bloggers. You also can get paid for ads shown on videos. You can create videos easily using your phone webcam or camera. Its free, its easy. After creating video you can easily share it on Twitter, Facebook, Tumblr or WordPress and other platforms as well.

It is easy to signup for videofy, enter your full name, an email address and a password. You can select your platform where you want to publish your videos as blogger, Drupal, Joomla, Tumblr etc Or connect with Facebook and Twitter. But this all is not necessary because you can do it later anytime.

SecondHack is Dedicated to Mobiles in India

After TechShali only SecondHack is my other blog that is earning some money using Google AdSense. When I had registered this domain my plan was to write about windows software, windows how articles. Simply I was inspired with some Windows-based blogs. But by the time posted about mobile by mistake and I got a good response so I started posting about mobiles. I also was posting about online how, Android apps, and iPhone apps but after sometime started posting about mobiles, specially smart phones. I saw my most of visitors are form India so I started posted about mobile that are launching in India or and price and specs of mobile, pre orders etc. I also transferred SH to Hostgator ( TechShali is on Bluehost), both hosting sites are working fine for me, I had some issues with Hostagtor but at his time everything is going smoothly. This month is not as good as some of previous month, it may be because of Google Panda. however still my earnings are good and by the time they will improve.

On SecondHack I do not post reviews because I do not get my hands on mobiles phones so I cannot play with them for a review.

SecondHack domain (not hosting) was suspended and it took 10 days to bring it back and all the ranking was gone and site was un indexed from Google index and it took two month recover the traffic now site is running smoothly and getting good traffic again.

My new blog is self hosted wordpress blog, but free blogging websites are still dominating. You can set your custom domain on these blogs but absolutely free is something different. There are more than 100 absolutely free sites which are specially for blogging but only some of them are famous and well known because their creators are working always to improve user experience.

1) Blogger.com

Blogger was created by Pyra Labs in 1999 and in 2006 it was acquired by Google, Till 2006 is was known as blogspot.com and still blogger hosted blogs has blogspot.com as main URL. Blogger is now a Google service and Google is still working on it to make it more useful. Perhaps blogger is easiest platform to create a blog and many people create blogs on blogger because they can show adsense ads or some other advertising programs and earn some money.

2) WordPress.com

There are two wordpress one is wordpress.org and other is wordpress.com, both are known as wordpress but wordpress.org provides us wordpress CMS tool for self hosted wordpress blogs and wordpress.com provides us space for creating free blogs as a subdomain of wordpress.com.
Wordpress CMS tool was launched in 2003 and wordpress for creating free blog was launched in 2005.
Wordpress is most influencing and superior platform for blogging, comparing to blogger.

3) Tumblr.com

Tumblr is well known as tumbleblog, it was launched in 2007. Tumblr is like Twitter an d used as microblogging platform but now it is emerging as regular blogging platform. People use Tumblr in both purpose as microblogging and blogging platform.

Tumblr is easy customizable with attractive features, you can use your own RSS feeds on your tumble blog.

4) Posterous.com

Posterous was launched in 2008. Posterous is very similar to Tumblr and both sites are in competition. It Is also a simplest way of blogging.

What To Care When Leaving Comments On Other Blogs?

Leaving comment on other blogs is a good way to promote your blog, but only leaving comment is not a good idea but carefully left comments works better. I everyday leave comments on some of blogs with my opinion and it works for me to get sure traffic. You should follow some of rules before leaving a comment on any blog. Many bloggers use “follow my links” plugin, so your comment will be crawled by search engines and get listed.

Blindly leaving comment won’t work for you.
Don’t say only ‘Hi’ OR ‘hello’.
Always leave comments on relevant blogs, I mean what type of content you write on your blog.
Always leave comments on new posts and if more than 200 people already have commented you do not have much more there, it is better not to comment.
Your comment should be related to post, you are commenting on.
Sometimes you can say something like ‘nice post’ ‘good read’ but only when you are in hurry.
Do not comment such thing which can make blog owner angry otherwise your comment will be deleted like an unborn child.
If you are leaving a comment to get instant traffic, write something better, other readers will visit your blog.
Mostly leave your comments on popular blogs, which are getting massive traffic everyday.
If you leave your comment on less popular blog it also works if your comment is good, because if no other reader visit to your blog; blog owner surely visit your blog.

How To Manage Blogger Profile?

You have a Gmail ID or not but probably have a Blogger account, I think so. Now most of new bloggers create their blogs on WordPress, because wordpress is superior blogging platform but when it comes to easiness, blogger is the best and still blogger is dominating the blogging industry. When people start blogging they don’t have their own domain and hosting but they use blogger or wordpress for blogging.

People who has their own hosting and domain they also have a blogger profile and now it is more easy to have one if you have a Gmail ID.

Managing blogger profile don’t need any programming skill, only your will is enough.

Blogger provides you a profile which wordpress lacks. If you have not enabled your profile in public, it is not good if you are a blogger, so you need to have enabled your blogger profile and well managed.

Making social relation with other bloggers blogger profile helps you and it has it’s own importance. When you go to your blogger dashboard you will your profile picture at top left if you have a picture.

Simply click on edit profile and in privacy option first enable your profile if you haven’t done it already.

In your profile fourth option is “show blogs to display”, if you have more than one blog you can select here which blog to display on your profile. Fifth option is for show or not show sites/blogs you follow, if you enable this option anyone can see which blog you follow, if you follow many blogs you not want to show it.

If you have self hosted blog then it is very important for you to manage your profile, by this you can keep in touch with bloggers who are on blogger.

How Many Times You Repost Your Same Content

OK OK, I know this is not an open question right? So it is not easy to answer in open but one thing is right defiantly, reposting same content is a nifty thing for bloggers who are well established. If you reading my blog I am sure you do not repost your content in any form accept few thing(not mentioning here).

Who repost their content they know how they do it and it is an art of reposting (republishing), they never got caught by general readers. But they do it very frequently and get so many comments for same contents, content is always king this is the theory which always works if you apply this wisely.

Who do this job frequently? I am not going to mention anyone’s name here but I will discuss few key features so you can easily find out where they repost their same content again and over again.

Before discussing at this point I am asking again the main question with little changes. How many times you can repost your same contents? If I will say with the help of statistics of successful bloggers who do it frequently there is no limit only you have to care for time period.

You can not republish you all kind of contents only few kind of contents you can republish and who do this they know it very well what kind of contents they can republish and they never fails and you always ignore repeating things because you like the same content again and again and this is the key factor of their sauces, and you know a good content always works.

So now it is the real question what kind of contents you can republish right? Well now I am going to tell you.

What is hot?
Yes what is hot? Any hot topic what peoples are looking to read for and reading and still looking to read for for more info on prior subject, so you collect few new things to add in same topic and you republish it in a very short time of period.
What is in trend?
What is in trend? Similar to hot but really not. You know Twitter??? If yes and if you are willing to write about twitter you can post every day 2-3 articles related to twitter almost same content by mentioning here and there sometimes in small posts and some times in long posts.
What peoples like to read always?
Yes there are few things which, peoples always admire and read and like to read as inspirational contents, self management, how to reputation but there is one thing how this all works? We know many things and we read much but we can not remember all things all the time so sometimes we read good contents we like it no matter how many times before we have read it because it helps always.

There should be more ideas to republish your contents again and again but I have seen these three types mostly.

And one more thing what about me? How frequently I do it? The answer is I never do it, sometimes it can happen by mistake or if very necessary.

Do You Like Blogging Or Just Tweeting?

Just imagine you have find some good stuff for writing a good article for your blog post then what you will do? You would compose a good blog post with your own skills or just to tweet original source? It is some kind of uneasy question to answer than practical.

Many peoples I have seen they never tweet an original source but they take idea from original source and a write a great post and this is a kind of good idea or habit. This kind of bloggers post almost every source on their blog in their own writing, but one bad side, they never like to give credit to others, they always want to eat all.

Many bloggers don’t like blogging at all only like to tweet what interest them and it is also a good idea or habit because tweeting (microblogging) is also very popular kind of blogging these days, so what we know today as tweeting (credit goes to twitter). I like these kind of bloggers because they have proved tweeting is an option for blogging and to make an identity on the web without blogging.

And for me or like minded peoples do posting on their blog and sometimes only tweeting, it depends upon kind of source and current mood and time.
Some times I like to post on my blog some stuff and sometimes I direct tweet it to my twitter account, and sometimes tweet friends posts If I like that and I can tweet any good post of any blogger if it seems me a good post.
