Soundcloud is a social network for sound lovers; it’s a web app but also available as a mobile app. A Soundcloud user can upload a sound and share it with others, and create a group or join an existing one. He can play a sound and download it if it’s allowed. To upload a sound on Soundcloud is similar to publish a blog post; a user can add a description and tags, and can add an image to it, so others can share and comment on it. As I have already stated that it’s a social network; it’s a large website with large user base, so one can find his Facebook friends here, and he can make followers and promote his sounds. If a user doesn’t has a sound he can record it, and can sell it, too. As I am using the word sound instead of music; one can upload his recorded voice, interviews, composed music, or a speech. As a free user one gets 120 upload minutes; so he can upload as many audio as he likes within allowed upload minutes.
