Snip.it is a kind of visual bookmarking site. You can take snip of any web page and share it on snip.it. You can enter any URL of the web in the sit to save and share it. You also can use bookmarklet to do the same. You also can sync your Facebook posts to Snip.it, you can create collection or categories for your snips. You can edit or delete your snips and you can do the same with snip collections. You can share or re snip and snip.
You can subscribe people and the collections and people. You also can see how many time your collection have been visited and you can other users collection how many times have been visited. Snip.I grabs text and images with link form a web page. You can see my collection here. Sinp.it also creates a section for each URL submitted snips as I have snipped some stories from TechShali so it has a section for techshali.com where you can see all the snips from techshali, you can an example here.

Thank you Madhav, I’ve been using this from your write up and thoroughly enjoying it. I am however at a complete loss as to know what to do upon receiving informed news and updates from snipit, in my email ? What do you reckon I should do when people like or add some or all of my collections ?
I’m also wondering if snipit might have a blog widget I can install on my blog ?
