PayTM vs. Rechargeitnow

I am used to Rechargeitnow (rit). But my last two recharges I did on PayTM. I wanted a special recharge of Rs. 38 for my Uninor SIM. But it was not available on Rechargeitnow. So I visited PayTM to check if it has that special recharge or not? And it had. So next day I did another recharge on it. So I decided to do a comparison of these two popular services.

How both the recharge services make money?
As far as I know all the online recharge services make money by commissions from mobile network operators. This commission can be from 2% to 5%. But when you go to do a recharge; rechargeitnow has clearly mentioned above the plans that “No Service Fee is levied by the site”. And rechargeitnow is full of ads, after a payment is made; the user is redirected to another site or to an advertiser.

User Interface and login
As, I have already said each page on rechargeitnow is full of ads. And the main area of the website is full of coupon code pictures, recharge services and payment options. And the other side PayTM has a very neat interface without any ads and pictures.

On PayTM you can sign up using traditional method or by connecting with Facebook, and the other side you have only option; login with email.

Free coupons and free recharge
Both the companies offering free recharge on referring, and free discount coupons. Free discount coupons are not one or two but all the available coupons.

Which service is more popular Paytm or Rechargeitnow
Both of the services claim that are they are number one. Alexa rank of both the sites is not so different.

Marketing
PayTM is spending on online advertising and this is a key factor to bring more customers. And the other side Rechargeitnow is an old service, well indexed and well ranked in search engines.

Customer care
Customer care comes if a recharge is not successful. Both the sites are good in customer care service.
