Opera Mini and UC browser Tips to view any website Properly on mobile

If you are viewing a responsive website design for your blog then you do not have much to do with the settings in mobile browser. But most of the websites are still not responsive. So when you visit these websites you can view them correctly on mobile phone.

A Mobile browser renders web pages to fit on the mobile screen. Opera mini is still most popular mobile browser. I use only two browsers on my mobile: (1) UC browser and (2) Opera Mini.

There are some settings that can be enabled, disabled or adjusted to see websites correctly on the mobile device.

Opera Mini Settings:
Once you opened a website on Opera Mini (e.g.: techshali.com) you will find text is not correctly displayed, it may be smaller or so much white space on the page.
How to Find Opera Mini Settings?
Click on Red “O” in right-bottom corner of the browser. It’s menu, in this menu click on “Settings”.

Settings section has various settings like font size, status bar etc. You can enable (on) or disable (off) these features. Some options can be adjusted.
Every feature has an option in front of it in just right side. Click on it to on or off or adjust it.
(1) Image quality:
Image quality should be medium so it will not take much time to load on your screen. This is useful if you are on a slow internet connection. It has three options: Low, Medium and High.
(2) Font Size:
Font size has three options: Small, medium and large. You can set it to large.
(3) Single column view:
If it is off, you should on it. So sidebar will be pushed in the bottom of the page.
(4) Text wrapping:
This feature should be on, it is similar to notepad feature.

If you have made these settings, click on the back button to see the web page and reload the web page to see the changes.

How to find UC browser Settings?
Open UC browser and open a website like techshali.com and click on the button in bottom-right corner of the browser or on the last button on navigation bar. On navigation bar you can see numbers of tabs are open, home button, next and previous button and menu button in last, so click on menu button and in the menu click on “Settings”.

In settings look for “browsing mode”, browsing mode has two mods: Desktop mode and mobile mode, if it’s desktop mode make it mobile mode.  Once mobile mode is selected sidebar of the blog will be pushed in bottom and text size will be adjusted according to the screen size.
There are many other settings that can be adjusted.

Once the preferred options are set you can get back to open tabs. The page will be automatically reloaded.
