Online Screen Recording Tool Free: Screencast-O-Matic

Yesterday I published a post for screen recording via Firefox add-on CaptureFox, so I found another tool that does not need to installed to work because that is online tool.

TechShali is for online tools so I publish here online tools, I posted some tools that are not online but now only online tools.

Screencast-o-matic provides two level services one is free and other is paid, so here I am describing about free service.

You can record up to 15 minutes video. You can host video up to 15 minutes per upload. You can upload in High Definition (HD).You can export to MP4, AVI and FLV. You can record web Camera.

You can easily drag and drop this tool, and adjust resolution.

You can record anything not only browser activities, mean you can record computer screen and other programs.

You can remove audio, show mouse clicks or remove, adjust resolution of video, add notes.

When you go to record another video it will ask to delete your previous video in your computer. You can store only on video on this website without pro but that is not a problem you can upload to YouTube.

You do not need to login to use this service.

The most notable thing I found is video quality and size, I recorded a video of 25 seconds that was only 1.08 MB.

To work this service you need to have installed latest version of JAVA.
Exported video will has watermark that is not a panic if you use free service.
