Many times I have read about making 8000 to 16000 rupees per month by making tube light chokes in Ahmedabad, this is an ad in classified section of Divyabhasker Gujarati newspaper. My friend was interested in this business. So we decided to visit the company. I, my friend and one of other friend visited the company, company is in the Ahmedabad and we are also in the Ahmedabad.

When we visited the company, it was a small office with two areas, main area was for the Boss; he was inside and before the main area other area was for other person working for the boss. The both areas were fully AC. The man given us a pamphlet to read, it was in Gujarati. After he told us we will have to buy a machine to manufacture the tube light choke, we have to all the manufacturing work by hand because the machine is a part of Grih Udyou (Gruh Udyoug).

The man told us there are two type of machines; one is for small chokes and the other is for larger chokes. We have shared another story with similar situation so we were careful. The company man told us all the information, now it was time for decision-making. The man told company will give machine, company will give training, company will give material and company will buy back the processed material. The company will have a legal agreement paper signed. We told we will decide and take a decision. So finally I decided to ask some questions about reliability of the company because we have to invest about 23,000 rupees in Advance.

So I started asking questions, my friends were listening, I asked what is percentage of the customers who stopped working with company, the man told it is 0% but he was not trained enough to answer this kind of questions, I asked “Can I get to read the agreement paper? So finally the boss came out of the main cabin to satisfy us, he started by asking “what is your confusion”. Finally we get in debate, and the boss provided us much information about the company and its policies and agreements. I and my friends were almost convinced. But the boss thought we are not good to do business with him, finally he started humiliating me by my shared experience of work. So I also started fighting in debate, as I have said he was the boss, his car may be costlier than my home as the boss said. I can just imagine about his reputation in the market. Actually I don’t know about him otherwise I won’t be discussing with him.

I am not going to share all the conversation here. I want to talk about reliability of the company, in our conversation, the boss told; we accept several customers every month, we sell only number of chokes every month. The boss said we don’t need so many people to manufacture chokes but only number of people. But as I have said in beginning of this post I saw his advertise in Divybhasker classified regularly, and the company is a diamond advertising counter of divyabhasker and Sandesh. I have only two questions to ask; if the company is genuine why most of the customer stop working with the company? And why they always give ads in newspapers about their product? The boss had told us in conversation that he likes only number of manufactures and production.
