News Satire is not new to Indian people. In India you can visit some of the active news satire sites. We simply read them as fake news sites.

FakingNews is leading and perhaps oldest satire news site in India. It’s online since 2009 with over 1000 reports. Before moving to fakingews.com domain the site was on BlogSpot. The leading writer for the site is known as Pagal Patrakar. Fakingnews cover many topics as politics, social media, cricket, Bollywood, business, sports. Theunrealtimes was launched in March 2011. Some off you may still remember Manmohan Singham a parody video of Singham movie trailer. This video was published by the Unrealtimes. This site is similar to above one but different in presenting the things, it tries to give parody videos and picture memes. The site is using the technology more effectively.

(3) Newsthatmattersnot
Newsthatmattersnot was launched in 2009. This is another very good website to read satire news related to India. First article on this was about Sachin Tendulkar’s wish to play in World Cup 2031 here.
