Twitter has launch a nice feature is “lists”, lists are long awaiting feature of Twitter because they are very useful. I think lists are for private use instead of public. Twitter let you keep your lists private or public. You can create some lists for private use that only you can view, a public list is viewable by others. You can make your lists public to private or private to public any time. Most usefulness of Twitter lists is for user’s management. You can manage users based on your interest. You can use lists as categories. You can add any user in your list.

You can make a list of our favorite celebrities, top technology blogs, online friends etc. It depends on your interest and profession. As I have created a list “sourcesblogger” I have included some of news sources in that list including people and blogs. If you are business related person you create clients lists on Twitter. If you are a boss you can make a list of your employees or team members.

If you like other’s list you can follow them. You can create list of list.

After creating your lists you can get list updates via RSS feeds. Twitter does not provide you RSS for lists but there is an online app that can create RSS for lists. Twitterlist2rss let you create an RSS feed for your twitter lists. After creating RSS just note that address and you can subscribe it Google reader by email.
There are some sites that let you search Twitter lists and follow them. Tweetmeme lists and Listorious you can use for this purpose.

To add a user in your list just visit his page or profile and click on lists tab and check the lists you want to add that user.
