I read a lot more complaint about Google Reader for its slowness from many early adopters, geeks and advance bloggers yet it is my favorite feed reader because it seems me a prominent feed reader in many ways. The people who do not like Google reader I think they are much dependent upon Google Reader or they want to make it their next feed reader.
What people complaint about Google Reader? It is very slow to deliver feeds and not in real time, but I think it is insufficient to hate it or complain about it, if you really want to get real time time results you may rely upon Twitter ( the next guy), Friendfeed ( COMMENT MORE) and Facebook ( the big boss).
I use Friendfeed for real time life streaming, when I get up in the morning and take seat at my PC I check more than hundred of feeds email checking and Google Reader is still a better way to manage good feeds, so ever you you missed any important feed and it always keep track of recent feeds.
Now a few tips to manage Google Reader to get most of it.
If you are still not using Google Reader You may try it, only you need a Google Email ID to use it and just click here and login with your Gmail ID and password and the rest of is easy.
One thong to care it always give you top recommendation at top right always ignore it because I could not understand it till now how Google Reader decide recommendations for me.

you can share items on Google Reader and it will be shared as your shared item on Friendfeed and Rssmeme ( don’t know more).

You can easily add subscription by clicking add subscription at top left.

You can easily manage your subscriptions by clicking on manage subscription at bottom left.

You can easily create a blogroll of your public folders in Google reader and can add it to your website or blog or you can add a clip. You can create Bundles also in Google Reader and share it.

When you follow any blog in blogger or you connect anyone with Google friend connect that blogs feed subscribed to your Google Reader by default, you can manage it easily to show it in Google Reader or not after going in preference.

Navigation panel supports drag and drop so you can easily drag and drop your subscribed items to manage better.

Honestly I don’t use anything but blogengage! By using blogengage to track my blogging friend’s activity I not only prove it works but I also generate traffic to their blog from it. Just like you I wake up, sit on my pc but instead of Google I sit at blogengage and read or visit all the submitted blog articles.
I love doing it and this is how I found your article!
None the less for anyone needing to use this service you offered an amazing tutorial for beginners.
bbrian017´s last blog ..Marketing Planning Process for Blogging
Yes Brian this is a amazing tutorial for beginners and I also submit relevant contents to blogengage.
And one more thing now every commentator has a separate page for his/her comments.
Great tips. I was one that never really liked Google Reader much, but now I use it constantly. And to be honest, I subscribe to so many different sites that it’d be impossible for me to keep up with “real time” stuff anyway, so I don’t care if it’s a little delayed.
Jessi´s last blog ..Forget about snuggies — Warm the whole couch instead!
Yes Jessi Google reader is the best way to manage feeds, and now it is more social than before.
