How To Manage Friends On Facebook?

A new solution comes with a new problem. You don’t have friends on Facebook you are lucky because you do not have to think how to manage them but once you got many friends then it is hard to manage all of your friends.

If you want to use Facebook effectively you must have to manage your friends, and you can only manage your friends if you are engaging with like minded peoples, who share same interest. If one sells animals and other sells vegetables then it is impossible to have a good conversation between them.

On social networks we want to have many friends but having many friends is different thing and having effective conversation is different.

But how? Well I have some solutions!

1: When requesting anyone for friendship or add someone as a friend then Facebook shows ( see in below screen shot) you option to “show in news feed” if you think that people does not share same interest or his field is different you may not check that checkbox.

2: And second option you see is “add to list” there you can create new list and add in a list that friend. You can create separate lists for different kind of friends, as workgroup, family, college, strangers, blogger friends, groups, pages etc…

3: If you have so many friends and not managed before you can do it after, navigate to friends tab there on left sidebar click on “All connections” as shown in screen shot, there you can those froends in a list if you created before or you can create a list and then you can select which friends to add in a particular list. If any friend seems you annoying you can remove him /her by clicking on ‘X’ button on right side.

4: After completing these steps you can go to home page there you will see your created lists and then you can click on a particular list to see updates from that list, as I have created one list ‘noticed’ if I click on that list then Facebook will show me updates from only thos people who are in that list.
