In today’s time competition has grown so much, much more than before, If I say real form of competition now we see then it would not be wrong.

Now we talk about Microsoft, it is a giant firm and it is facing most competition, means Microsoft has most of competitor in its field, all giant firms are in competition with Microsoft. Just take Microsoft and Yahoo, both firms are in competition with each other since long time for search market, email and advertising.

Now take Microsoft and Adobe, here also both firms are in tough competition, both giants many products are competing with each other, such competitive products Flash and Silverlight. But the competition not stops here, Apple is perhaps at top in competition with Microsoft with its operating system, web browser, mobile and a few more products.

After all real competition is between Microsoft and Google because now we are getting out of windows world to web world and Google is dominating the web, both giants are trying to defeat or completely kill each other and perhaps they can not stop.

It is just one giant which has competition with so many other giants but now picture has competently changed, now it is very easy to jump into competition, after Microsoft Google is at second in competition and new competitors are coming to challenge.

Great post Madhav! It’s interesting when you bring things into perspective like this! Stand alone I wouldn’t even consider who was in competition with who but this articles really makes it clear.

I’m hoping Google starts taking OS market share asap I just love Google!
