Google also tried to buy twitter and valued it something $250 million, because Google thinks this is the right value for Twitter but Microsoft thinks different about Twitter.
Google still want to acquire Twitter, like it acquired Youtube, blogger, otherwise Google is not interested in Twitter. Other side Microsoft wants to acquire Twitter and it seems positive.
Google modified its search engine to search real time results and still working on it. Microsoft thought the other way, it started adding some of popular twitter users tweets in to Bing results.
Google still thinking on acquiring Twitter, other side Microsoft launched bingtweets, which provides Twitter and Bing results side by side for same query.
