If you are an Adsense publisher you can earn more money with it by blocking specific ad categories that are not in your niche or not suitable with your blog and its content. Ad categories are not new in Adesne but they were not visible for general publishers. To make ads more relevant on your blog Google has introduced ad categories so you can check some of categories that you do not want to show ads on your blog. Specific ad categories show specific ads so it is easy to manage which ads you want to run on your blog or website.
In my blog no one clicked on weight loss ads. It is true for sexual and health related ads. But Google showed them on my blog. Those ads were useless because they are not matching with the nature of my blogs content. But now I have blocked those ad categories.
To block specific ad categories in Adsense follow these simple steps.
Login to your Adsense account.
Click on Adsense Setup tab.
After clicking Adsense setup tab you will see another set of tabs.
There you have find and click on Ad Review Center tab.
