Facebook Sharing Tips for Blog Post Promotion

To share my latest blog posts on Facebook, I am used to automatic sharing apps like RSS Graffiti and NetworkedBlogs. However, I have also started using manual sharing because it is more fruitful.

In past, there was no difference in sharing and liking a post on Facebook. But now sharing a post is 10 times better than liking a post. If you like a post on Facebook or outside Facebook via a like button it is shown in Likes section of Timeline. And that is not going to get enough attention.

Another thing I will suggest my friends to share a picture on Facebook instead of a link because a picture is worth one thousand words. I am not just saying it; instead I will show you my Facebook page’s analytics for shared posts with and without a picture. With a picture, you can easily add some text and link in picture details. When you share a picture you get double benefit, a picture is shared as a picture, and it is also shared on timeline as an update. A picture is more attention grabbing.  You can use a picture related to article.

  1. I agree with your point. Picture gives more attraction to the readers. In new style FB like seems little bit useless. It doesn’t show well in profile. So share is the best option to attract readers
