Disable Facebook Places For Friends And More

Facebook recently launched a new product called places I have discussed it already. But is is controversial from very start because of privacy matters. I like to share about everything on twitter and facebook but it is not right for every user, so some of you may to keep your privacy intact. So if you want to disable Facebook places you can do it easily.

Click on Account and go to Facebook privacy settings, see screen shot.

Now click on custom and after customize settings, see screen shot.

If you want to stop check in you by your friends in places second section is “Things others share” there last setting is “Friends can check me in to places”, you can disable that, see screen shot.

As you can see places is enabled by default in your account for you, I have set it to only for friends.
