There are many PayPal alternatives and the list is growing, PayPal is industry leader in online payment systems but majority of users in India are not happy with them because they can not keep up with Indian government to avoid some hassle. PayPal payment system is good but now it looks like more traditional than modern in online payment systems. There is a question do we really need PayPal or look for alternatives? There are some other simpler and easier online payment systems with less transaction fee. One thing is sure PayPal’s customer care section is one the best I have experienced.
Wepay is really simple system for online payments. You can easily implement it on websites with no programming skills. You also do not need any merchant account for more features and options. It also does not need any setup fees. You can use WePay for sending bills, selling items, selling tickets, accepting donations. You need to giveaway only 3.5% for accepting money. To sell tickets with bank accounts you need to pay 50¢ minimum.
PayPal co-founder Max Levchin is also involved in WePay.
