As we know Alexa is a web information company the company is owned by Amazon. And we know what information it provides. Google is on top, Facebook is on second most famous website; this all is decided by Alexa. So it is not bad idea to promote your site on Alexa. Alexa gives a rank for your site and how you will work on your site your rank will be improving. More traffic to your site, more content on your site, the high Alexa rank of your site.

Alexa provides good analytics also for your site within your site rank.

You should be thinking I want to teach you how to embed YouTube videos on your blog but this is not it, instead I want to share my experience on embedding YouTube videos on my blog.

Actually now YouTube provides sufficient way to embed YouTube videos on your blog or website but I was unaware of this till now. And I was familiar with old tricks and hacks. But because of new improvements in YouTube you have to only copy and paste.

When you click on any video to play YouTube give you URL or address and embedding code for that video on upper right column. You can see in below image.

A favicon is short form of Favicon icon. You can see ugly favicon of my blog TechShali I will change it in future. Or you can see beautiful favicon of Google.

There are many websites also that let generate favicon for your website, you can get a large list of favicon generating sites here.

There are two ways to add a favicon to your Wordpress blog.

If you do not like Google buzz in your inbox and you are willing to turn it off but not getting a way to turn off it, this post is for you because now you can turn off it, Google has provided a simple way to do it. It is important because it connected with Google profiles.
Just login to your Gmail account a scroll down to bottom of inbox you will find a link as shown in picture.

After creating and customizing it is necessary to promote it.

1- First become a fan of your own fan page.

2- Suggest it to your friends but do not suggest all of your friends because you do not have to press them mentally if they do not want to become a fan of your page they will simply ignore so first check your friendship status and think which friends should be suggested to become a fan of your fan page.

1- Click on settings, you can in image.

2- When you click on settings, settings will be open as you can see in image, here you can set who can post on your page, which tab to show as default. And which type of content your fans can post.

WordPress does not allow you to change your user name, one you installed WordPress you cannot change your user name and mostly people use “admin” for user name. But here is good news or a good plugin that allows you to change your user name.
