If you have a self hosted WordPress blog and you are serious about your visitor’s statistics, I hope you should have created an account in Google analytics. Or if you have not created then you can create it. But you would be thinking how to do it because there is no easy way to add analytics code to your WordPress blog. If you have a static HTML site then Google provide simple method but for WordPress you would e looking for an idea.
Well I have found an idea and using it for some time.
Steps are simple just go and create a profile in Google analytics using your existing Google account. If you do not know how reach at Google analytics, just Google it. And follow the steps you see finally they will give you a code to insert in each page of your site. Here you will be worry. But you do not have to because there is a simple WordPress plugin that do rest of the things only you have install it and configure it. When you create a profile in analytics account they will give you an id for that profile that is important for you because it needs to configure analytics for your site.
Having a self hosted wordpress blog is very good but if you are unable to optimize it for search engines then you cannot get most of it. But you do not have to worry so much now there are so many plugins for WordPress SEO. Most of the bloggers are not aware of these plugins so they cannot get most of their blogging.
Since long time I was willing to write about WordPress SEO plugin and finally I have come with this post.

If you are serious blogger, you should have a self hosted wordpress blog! Anyway if you have self hosted wordpress blog then this post is extremely useful for you. If you take care of your readers and commenter then I am sure you will be looking for wordpress plugin for better comment management.

Today I received an email from Youare which is a Twitter like micro-blogging service. Youare is giving a free wordpress theme which is based on youare.com.
I am already using a good theme so I won’t change it but if you are looking to switch from your old theme but not getting any good theme perhaps youare theme could be your next stop.

In your self hosted wordpress blog there are many luxurious features. One of features is tag cloud widget, so you can add this widget in your blogs sidebar, but problem with this widget is that: when your blog grows old and you post so many posts; respectively you add many new tags also. In your sidebar it goes uneasy for you to display all the tags because it takes a large essential space where you can add other widgets 125X125 banner.
