Railway Ticket Booking in India is not new but IRCTC also have step in this, right now you can book ticket on your mobile phone with IRCTC_website. As we know it India has a large user base for mobile subscribers. On your mobile you can open https://www.irctc.co.in/mobile to book your ticket, you may use your existing ID and password that you use on web interface. The interface is optimized for mobile users.

If you are using smart phone there are chances you can book tickets with mobile interface. But for simple mobile phones can now use IRCTC to open to book railway tickets if GPRS is activated.

As we know it is mobile interface so all the features that you see on web interface you will not find here but important.

You can enquire tickets by entering destination and you can book the ticket. You also can check ticket booking story, you also can cancel a ticket from here. Payments can be made using Credit and Debit card so internet banking may not work.

While I am talking about IRCTC one more thing I would like to share is the bug in their system. Last two times I booked ticket on IRCTC before booking the system was saying seat is available but after booking it booked my tickets in waiting list status and this happened last two times. I think there is something wrong.
