This is exactly happening with me. In 16 months I have changed three internet service providers. I am not satisfied with anyone. I can’t understand what’s going on or what’s wrong with these ISPs.

I was using a local ISP that was powered by Reliance I knew it. It was unlimited plan. The service was very bad and frustrating, they always taken rent in advance. Mostly the service was unavailable on regular basis. Daily 8 hours service was unavailable in working hours. There was no surety when it will be disconnected. So finally I told them bye-bye.

After I bought an Idea device (Aditya Birla Group) with unlimited plan Rs. 600 per month. Their speed was up to 336kbps but the ideal speed was 36kbps. I still remember it reached up to 200 kbps for four times for half a minute. in 6 months. I decided to leave them when I was unable to do my work on ideal speed of 10kbps for hours and hours.

Finally I managed to buy an EVDO from BSNL, they always said “not available at this time” when I visited BSNL office. But I managed to find a connection in BSNL office and got EVDO device with unlimited plan. It can deliver up to 3.1 mbps speed but it never reached 1 mbps. When I open a website and look for speed mostly I see graph of up to 500 kbps but not always only sometimes.

I was happy with EVDO what I was getting for but it also make me sad like other ISP providers. There is continues problem of signal. It usually loses signal. When it loses it signal it is another “idea”.
