Facebook profiles are very popular, similarly Facebook pages are also very popular. But a similar product from Facebook or a feature is Facebook groups. I was never a fan of Facebook groups. But I was a member of many Facebook groups but I was an inactive user of Facebook. When I became an active Facebook users I quitted most of the Facebook groups or set to get no notifications.

And Now I am member of some of the active groups on Facebook. Any Facebook member can start a Facebook group here. People are using Facebook groups for traffic, leads, money, business, product selling etc. But there are some groups created to help others.  Specially tech bloggers are helping others. These groups have their own rules and have many of public admins.

Two of Facebook groups I will mention in this post I find helpful for community. These Groups are Bloggers_Lounge and Tech_Bloggers. I visit these two blogs mostly for reading questions and answers. But only problem with these groups is ongoing spam problem. Many of bloggers do miscellaneous propaganda. Otherwise Facebook groups are superior alternative of forums and Q&A sites. Group creator easily gets advantage of Facebook platform to get group members.
