It’s time for real time web search, so people have now started using real time search engines along with traditional search engines. Real time search engines are fun and fast for real time results.
Real time search and traditional search engines are not against each other but they are complementary.
Traditional search is best for research and real time search is most recommended for current affairs.
If you want to search something for its past then traditional search is what you need. Google is best till now for traditional search. And probably Google is not a real time search engine till now, and I can not peep into future.

Here is a list of real time search engines with little detail.

Of all the ones I like Friendfeed. Eagerly looking forward to more enhancements in Twitter search though. Once that happens everyone including big G will be back to their childhood days.

This is a nice list. A lot of real time search engines appeared this year, each with unique features. We’ve been online with our real time search engine for more than a year now and we are constantly updating according to customer feedback. Check us out at surchur.com and tell us what you think.

There is a newcomer worth taking a look at , Streamcrab.com.
The difference between streamcrab and the rest of so called realtime search engines is that it actually delivers the results in real time and it is not a a bunch of Twitter posts.
Perhaps it is also worth to mention that it is capable of searching and indexing real time results from Facebook, Dig, News and Blogs.

Twitter search seems like a great site to search for tweets especially if you’re searching for topics that are trending presently.
