5 Sites To Search Similar Sites

Have you ever tried to search similar sites? Actually there is not any perfect tool or app that can help you to search similar sites, Google is also not an exception in this matter. Google has a similar search function but that is not so useful but sometimes it is useful when you are searching large websites. To use this tool you can use related:website name and this will show you related sites or results. See screenshot.

There is a reason for searching similar sites. I know Google is a powerful search engine and it does most of my search but I always search another search engines and this works for any website no matter it is a blog, social networking site or microblogging site. Using this site you can search related websites for your favorite websites. You can create your own list of similar sites list. If you could not find similar sites for any website there would not be any similar site for that one, so you can add similar sites to that site, for this you have to register first. So you can see this site has different approach for similar sites.

It is a simple website you will not find any detail about the website as like contact or about page. there are three sections for websites on homepage: blogs, last websites and web 2.0. It is in beta. Not all sites but some sites are really similar if you search similar sites to a website. We can hope for better results in future.

Tagomatic is not specially for similar site search, but you can use this site for music, movies, books and websites, so you have to select websites before searching, and if you could not find similar website you can add that site and similar websites. It indexes everything what is similar to.  It is a community recommendation engine.
