Thesis Theme is specially designed for WordPress SEO. After installing and using this theme I am seeing some of the most useful plugins are now no longer useful for me because Thesis has readymade features. But for adding adsense codes and some other customization for its look and feel you need some of the plugins that are specially made for Thesis theme.

Thesis is based on thesis hooks so if you learn about thesis hooks you can make customization without plugins. Let’s have a look on these plugins I have found for Thesis theme.

(1) Thesis Open Hook:
Thesis open hook is the most useful plugin for Thesis theme because it let you edit your theme easily. Thesis theme is based on thesis hooks. As you can see adsense code I have placed above post is with the help of thesis open hook and also menus. All other customization I have done using functions.php.

(2) Thesis Import/Export:
As we know Thesis is good for SEO but not easy to customize. Goal of this plugin is to help you make your customization work easier.  So once you created a custom layout for a site you can export that settings with help of this plugin (located at Appearance >Thesis Import/Export). Now when you create a new layout for a new site you can import your exported settings from previous layout with the help of this plugin and apply them to your new layout.

(3) Thesis Sidebar Teasers:
This plugin allows you to add Thesis Teasers inside a sidebar. Currently it does not support all the features you could be accepting.

(4) Thesis Style Box:
With the help of this plugin you can make styled note box, alert box, help box, tip box, important box in your posts using classes.
