In India there is not much craze of Blog Directories, so many bloggers tried to make blog directories and their efforts are admirable but making a blog directory needs a special software or program for it and time and money. Amit Agrawal’s blog directory is one of these efforts.

I googled many times to find Indian blog directories but I could not find satisfying results. I could find some directories but that are less known or unknown, and some directories are just cheating, as I tried to submit my blog but could not succeeded.

Only two blog directories I found worth submitting my blog and these two directories are really successful. These directories are successful because these are not just blog directories but they interact with you and people gather around there.

(1) Inblogger

Indiblogger was launched on August, 2007. This directory is for Indian blogs. After sign up you can submit your blogs one after one, your blogs will be visible after aproval. Indiblogger has its forum where you can take part in active threads and can start new threads, indiblogger forum is a great way to promote your blog.

Indivine: Collection of blog posts by Indian bloggers.
Indirank: Rank provided by Indiblogger for your blog which can be maximum 100 and no any blog has reached this limit.
Directory: You can browse directory shorting by time added, city name, blogger’s name, blog tile and indirank.
Forum: Indiblogger forum
Meets: Similar to meetup
Contest: Contest for Indiblogger of the month.

(2)Blogadda

Blogadda was launched in May, 2007. This directory is only for Indian blogs. After sign up you can submit your blogs, After approval it will be displayed.
Blogadda has its own blog there you can find interesting interviews, perky tweets, spicy Saturdays, tangy Tuesdays, occasional posts, tips, tricks and suggestions.
Perky tweets are Tweets with #perky hashtag.
