A few months ago Gmail Team has added a new tab in its Gmail known as “Labs”. Labs has some powerful features for power users but you also can enable those features and and get some more power over your inbox.

Labs has many new features added to tweak your inbox and you may try those features by enabling.
To enable Labs features you have to access Labs, look at the green bottle in below screen shot to access Labs. This tab is in new Gmail.

(1) Offline
This feature enables you to read your mails offline but you need to install Google Gears for it. So when you are offline by any reason you can read your unread emails.

(2) Youtube preview
Youtube preview enables you to see the preview of youtube video if you get any link in your inbox .

(3) Flickr preview
If you get any Flickr link you can see the preview of that picture in your inbox.

(4) Message Translation
This feature can translate your mail message with the help of Google Translator in your default language if the message is other than default language.

(5) Quick Links
This feature adds a box in left side of inbox so you can bookmark any emails ans access by one click.

(6) Pictures in chat
When you are chatting with your friends see their profile picture.

(7) Right side chat
This feature allows you to move your chat box right side.

(8) Undo send
If you changed your mind after sending an email to recipient, if you have enable this undo send feature you can undo send that email so recipient won’t get that message.

(9) Nevbar drag and drop
You can easily drag and drop your boxes.

(10) Forgotten Attachment Detector
This feature is useful in cause you forget to attach any attachment this will remind you.

(11) Mark as Read Button
This is very useful feature if you get so many emails everyday, by selecting them you can mark as read and save your time.

(12) Multiple inbox
If you are more hungry to get important messages quickly you may enable this feature.

(13) Google search
If you love your inbox so much and do not want to leave it easily enable this feature so you can search the web in your inbox.

(14) Inserting images
Another useful Labs feature, when composing email message you can insert images from your PC or from any URL.

(15) Search auto complete
If you have enable this feature, it will suggest you by auto completing inbox search.
